Herbal infusions

I love summer...a time for seeing so many different plant peoples re awakening and blossoming.

Last year I planted some spearmint and peppermint seeds..which grew quite quickly. This year they have been growing agin and have increased In number.

Today I was feeling a little yukky inside ,and sluggish probably due to enjoying some of my daughters home made sugary cookies yesterday. 

I went into my garden to see if there were any plant spirits that could help me..and straight away the pepermint came into my mind.

So I went to the pepermint..asked it which partI should take and Iit indicated to me some leaves on the bottom middle plant..I asked how many and it told me 5.

I picked them and then sang a sone in return for its help.

I washed the leaves and put them in a herbal ball and poured boiling water on them. I then covered the cup and leaft to infuse for 4ish minutes.

A few benefits of using pepermint ;

Helps reduce stomach acid and reflus and ulcers
Helps with headaches
Menstrual cramps

Clears and sooths digestion and stomache upsets.

Tree spirit essence

Today I have spent love and time in making myself a Birch Tree essence. My guides have asked me to do this .Birch is a tree that helps us in times of transition,personal growth, release, death and rebirth.
I was guided to leave the water in both the luna and the solar lights.I communicated withthe tree and asked it if it would help me...it agreed..then I set up the bowl with spring water,three terminated quartz crystals and asked the tree to infuse its energy into the water for me.
After I then filtered the water into a glass jar and added alcohol to preserve it.
I then gave gratitude to the tree spirit for its help.

Shamanic Sacred Herbs

Today we were very excited to see that our sacred herbs were starting to grow...white californian sage ..wild tobacco...mugwort..all to be used for shamanic work. I will use these herbs for spiritual cleansing , blessings , giving my gratitutes , making of prayer ties ,medivine pouches and space cleansings.

Sound therapy recording

Today at healing tree thrapies and shamanic practice I have been recording sound healing to put onto my new youtube channel.
I will also be uploading simple power chants and and simple ceremonies to help you to get connected to who you really are.

Leicester Sweatlodge

Today we made great progress on the small sweatlodge that we are constructing in the garden. I am grateful to the creator for this all coming together so perfectly.

The sweatlodge is a very powerful cleansing and purifying  ceremony. It is a ceremony where we go into the lodge....into the earth mothers womb..and emerge re born.
This ceremony will be carried out in 4 rounds...one for each of the the directions. During each round sacred herbs and resins will be burnt to further empower and cleanse each of the participants.
